I asked the students to get in small groups to discuss these questions. They got in their groups and just looked at one another with baffled looks on their faces while remaining silent. I tried rewording the questions and providing examples and still got blank looks when they returned to their group discussions.
The Curriculum Customization Service is aimed at boosting student engagement and performance in earth science education. It organizes online resources around the school districts curriculum and state educational standards.

This news release details some findings of a Michigan State University study by Linda Jackson. Attached to the news release is the in-press journal article in “Computers in Human Behaviour” about the study and their findings. While this applies to compulsory education, creativity, particularly in problem solving, is important in higher education too.

Teachers typically earn a four-year undergraduate degree and then spend another year at university completing their bachelor of education. (Ten of the 13 universities with education programs also offer the degrees concurrently so students can complete the two at the same time.)
The Liberals have said more training is needed given the challenges and increasing demands teachers face. The expanded program, the details of which have yet to be finalized, will include more practical, in-class training for new teachers.
